There is a captivating history to the Cambodia gambling halls that reside just over the border from neighboring Thailand, where gambling hall betting is illegal. Eight gambling halls are based in a generally tiny space in the city of Poipet in Cambodia. This conclave of Cambodia casinos is in a prime spot, a three to four hour drive from Bangkok and Macao, the two most popular betting locations in Asia. Also, there is the Casino Tropicana, with 135 slot machines and sixty six of the normal table games, as well as a single table of Casino Stud Poker. One more of the eight gambling dens in Poipet, again in a hotel, is the Princess Casino with 166 slots and ninety seven casino games. The Star Vegas Casino is is located in a comprehensive vacation and hotel complex that features many amenities in addition to the gambling hall, which houses ten thousand sq.ft. of 130 one armed bandits and eighty eight gaming tables.
